- PHPete HamacekMar 25, 20142.0They sounded great on the phone but service was far from honest. First I was given a quote on the phone for the cost of sharpening 2 cutting boards. But when I went to pay for the service the bill was double the original quote. When I inquired why the difference in cost I was told that upon service they discovered that it needed more sharpening then first thought. I asked why I was not notified first before additional service and cost and was told that they were so dedicated to excellence that they couldn't stop what they were doing they had to complete the job. Although I was upset with the doubled cost I do appreciate excellence and I payed the bill. Unfortunately it has been just over a month and my cutting board is dull, bending the paper and is still not cutting paper straight. So I must give Bob's Cutter Grinding Services 2 out of 10 for quality and service.
