I recently had heating emergency when my furnace went out in my fifth wheel RV. Considering the temperature is going to be down to 27 degrees tonight I think it's very important that I am able to have heat within that unit. I had come to the Lowe's in Fort Mill two times. On the 11th of January there was a young man working in the plumbing department that was very honest and told me he didn't know much about plumbing, and he was just filling in for someone that particular night. HE STILL TRIED his best to help me. Due to the lack of anyone having the knowledge to help me in that department I ended up having to come back today.Today is January 12th 2026, and I really don't enjoy writing negative comments. The man that was assigned to plumbing tonight couldn't have given two craps in the world about helping me. I asked him if he had a flex gas hose and he walked me over to this one area that had nothing to do whatsoever in reference to what I was actually looking for. I said, no there has to be something that is for propane gas that's flexible. He basically shrugged his shoulders and walked off. I don't care if Lowe's is trying to save money, but when it's to the detriment of its customers they need to wake up. I'm a 100% disabled veteran, and at one point I was bound to a wheelchair. After I stand up, or walk, for a short amount of time my pain levels increase dramatically. Since there was no one that would help me, or could help me, I was standing in the plumbing area walking up and down aisles trying to figure out what I needed for almost an hour. It gets even better, the store was closing at this time. When I attempted to explain the situation I encountered, and that I was running behind due to the fact of no service whatsoever, some lady at the registers said the store is closing and I need it to check out at customer service. She wasn't at all interested in what I had to sayn concerning the lack of service. While I was checking out at customer service I tried to explain to the young man working the counter what had just taken place. He wasn't at all interested either. I have been going to Lowe's stores for over 45 years. I have been to so many Lowe's home improvement stores throughout the United States. This by far is the worst service that I have ever received in 45 years. It's pitiful when you have a company making the money that Lowe's takes in annually, but they would rather hire individuals that have no knowledge whatsoever of the building industry. Then you have the employee of the year tonight that couldn't have cared less about helping a customer out whatsoever. While I was writing this comment the store has already been shut down for 15-20 minutes. The assistant manager, Raul, just stopped and spoke with me forever 10 15 minutes. I've lost all my concerns to him. A very professional man. I've got to give him kudos. At least I ran into one employee of Lowe's that showed actual concern. My hat's off to this young man. I will definitely never visit this store again.

Go to Home Depot. The customer serv8ce here is horrible. They are rude and poorly trained. Had to wait in line because the one br9ke the computer trying to process a return for the customer 8n front of me. They denied my return that was will within 90 days and told me I can go to the website to read the return policy. I have been on hold for 20 minutes waiting on a representative. Speaking with Fiona. The supervisor at customer service. She is the worst. I do not know how she got hired for that role no excitement no empathy just read the policy in a monotone voice

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
