Never let Lowe’s install a toilet. They charge twice as much to do it as other plumbers in the area & give 8hr window on that date 2wks in the future. I was sold a defective toilet that they discovered was defective on the install. The installers couldn’t provide a reasonable date to install a replacement (literally gave 1 day only 5 wks after the purchase date) and Lowe’s told me I could find someone else to install. Now they are claiming that they shouldn’t even have to reimburse me for the install because the installers did complete the work of installing a toilet, irrespective of it being a broken one (even though I now have to pay someone else to get a functional one installed). Have spent hours on the phone through this process and their customer service has been useless and shockingly disrespectful. They sold and installed a broken toilet and have treated me like I’m at fault, not once even apologizing. I will never have them do installation work again.
