I went to Lowe’s on Sam Crossing to get a nail gun. I noticed they had one on sale for $179, so I proceeded to find an associate to help me secure the roofing nail gun. I couldn’t find it on the shelf, so I went to the commercial sales area and saw the nail gun on a lower shelf.
The associate at the register told me I would need to purchase it online in order to get the sale price that was listed on the app. I asked to speak with a manager, but the associate said the manager confirmed I could not purchase it at the sale price in the store — it had to be ordered online.
At that point, I became frustrated and left the store. I then went to another Lowe’s and was able to purchase the same item for a lower price.
I’m just trying to understand: if you have the item in the store, why can’t a customer purchase it right there at the register for the sale price?
I did contact a manager named Joe, and he was very helpful. I just think that when a customer is trying to make a quick purchase—especially when they’re working against time and daylight—it would be much more convenient to allow them to complete the purchase in-store.

Ordered a replacement glass for storm door in June and still haven't received and its October . It was ordered incorrectly twice and broken when arrived at store the first time!!!!!!!
.....so I went back to Lowe's 3 weeks ago and was told the glass wasn't ordered correctly again! She (Brenda) said she was going to order it again (correctly) however, here we are agin ...went by today and couldn't get an answer as to when it will be in so I cancelled the order and asked for a refund only to be told I'd have to wait for corporate to send me a refund in the mail!!???!!! Incompetence is an understatement!!

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
