    I purchased a refrigerator & was told by the salesman that the doors would be removed to fit it through my house door. The delivery person said that the freezer drawer couldn’t be removed so he couldn’t deliver it. He told me that the salespeople are “crazy” & will say anything to make a sale(not very professional in my opinion ). I went back to Lowe’s and purchased another refrigerator with 4 doors on it & was guaranteed that it could be delivered. The delivery person said that since the left door had the ice machine in it he couldn’t take that door off and refused delivery. I spoke with his supervisor who assured me that it could be done & I rescheduled for it to be delivered again. Same thing happened with the “better” delivery crew that I was promised. After 3 unsuccessful attempts and many annoying phone calls I went to Wickford Appliance & purchased the exact same Frigidaire refrigerator. It was delivered today by the most professional and competent crew. They took out my old fridge, took all the doors off the new one, even took my house door off and completed this in just under a 1/2 an hour. They also sent out a person to run a new line for my ice maker which is another thing Lowe’s store promised me but their delivery person said they don’t do. The lack of communication and accountability between Lowe’s sales department and delivery is non existent. I refuse to purchase anything from Lowe’s ever again. I strongly suggest if you need an appliance go to Wickford Appliance their customer service is excellent. They even price matched the fridge because they had it at a higher price. The other thing is that their delivery people are their employees, not a third party. They also cover the warranty, not a third party. For this experience with Lowe’s that started before Christmas I would give negative stars if I could. Also it has been 4 days since the third failed delivery and no one from Lowe’s has reached out to me. Shame on you Lowe’s for your deplorable customer service.

    I don’t know what was going on with the women at Lowe’s today but the way I was treated was beyond not okay . The two heavyset women that are working the front, one was old with a 12 year patch on and the other was younger short brown hair brown eyes red vest , they are some of the rudest people that I have ever interacted with for absolutely no reason. I came in needing help. The older one was extremely rude, right away she couldn’t be bothered with helping Me she had no desire to help me, & made it very obvious. So I walked away. I go to get help from the other heavyset girl, and not only was she completely clueless of what she was supposed to help me with, she was extremely rude. The difference in help I got from the men and women today was like I was at two so stores , the men that were helping me there were actually helpful. I understand that I'm a girl, and men may be more understanding and more gentle to women, but I was a girl. I came into the store, and I went to these women because I felt more comfortable with them Like, I'm a girl in a hardware store. I don't go to hardware stores all the time. I don't know what I'm doing or going So I went to these women thinking they would be nice. And they were so rude that if my purchase wasn't already paid for online, I would have walked out. The men on the other hand were so kind and helpful I wish o went to them first one of them was even on break and he helped Me and showed Me were to go , these women helping Me were the exact opposite. I don’t know what I could have done to be treated like this I wasn’t even in inappropriate clothing and they immediately were rude the moment I walked in and asked for help . To be treated like this at all is not okay but to be treated like this by women and for no reason is just so wrong . Then there was another one next to the heavy girl in the red vest when I went back up to ask for help her coworker was putting up a tree and was giving Me the dirtiest look for no reason o couldn’t believe it , I didn’t even speak to her . I’m not sure what was going today or why they treated Me like this but I never wanted to leave a store so badly . Like I said if My order wasn’t already paid for online I would have immediately left
