This is a great company that stands by their work. We’ve not encountered a company that is so dedicated to their customer’s’ satisfaction with their work that they will come and attend to issues months after completion. They are kind, dependable and responsive. This was a challenging job (glassed in greenhouse that we also use as a 3-4 season room. They did a really great job.

I was so happy to get a call back. Oddly I had contacted 2 other local vendors and didn’t get the courtesy of a return call. Providence called back and came within a few days to take measurements. Crew was on time and friendly. I can’t wait to receive my order.

Replaced the thermopane panels in two Andersen casement windows. Looked great when done and the fogging has been gone for 2 years now. Going to have PCM do another window and a sliding door panel - both fogged.
Frequently Asked Questions About Providence Glass & Mirror, LLC
What thicknesses of glass do you offer?
We provide two main thickness options for frameless shower door glass: 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch. The choice between these depends on the shower's width and length. Wider showers typically require 1/2 inch glass for adequate support, while narrower showers can use 3/8 inch glass to reduce costs without compromising structural integrity. Generally, glass panes 72 inches or less in width can use 3/8 inch thickness. For more detailed information about our custom glass and mirror options, please contact our local team.
What are the differences between clips and channels?
Both clips and channels have their advantages and disadvantages. Channels hold the glass in place and require less caulking maintenance, but they create a slight frame effect. Clips, on the other hand, allow for more visible glass and provide enhanced structural support, though they come at a higher price point. If you're considering frameless glass shower doors, we encourage you to contact us to discuss these options in more detail.
Do you sell low-iron glass?
Yes, we offer low-iron glass in addition to regular clear glass. Regular clear glass has a greenish tint on the edges, while our low-iron glass features a lower lead content and displays a crystal-clear blue color along the edges. It's important to note that our low-iron glass is offered at a premium price. For those interested in high-quality, low-iron frameless glass shower doors, we invite you to contact us for more information.
Do you provide free estimates?
We do offer free estimates for our custom glass and mirror products. To schedule an estimate, you can call our office directly or submit a request through our website for a prompt callback.
What are your lead times?
Our typical lead times range from seven to 14 business days, starting from the date of payment to the day we receive the glass. Once your glass arrives, we will contact you to schedule the installation appointment. If you're in need of a new glass shower door, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
Do you offer any discounts?
We offer a 10% discount on custom glass and mirror orders for seniors, veterans, and first responders.
Are your services on a first-come-first-serve basis?
Our service order is determined by the timing of payment receipt. We place orders for glass products when payment is received, so the first client to submit payment will have their order processed first. This typically results in their project being completed first as well. To begin your custom glass and mirror project, please contact us to discuss your needs.
