- LLLifecyclzFeb 16, 20261.0I had the most awful experience, I truly feel taken advantage of by this company. Firstly, my technician was two hours late. He did not notify me that he was going to be this late, I had to call the company and ask. When he arrived here, I was quoted 250$ to break my door handle then I would have to buy a new handle. I said I just wanted to have my lock picked without damage if possible. He said it was actually going to be 500$ (495$ to be exact) and very quickly put the reader in my face without explaining much. When I was hesitant, he became visibly annoyed and very pushy. I ended up paying 375$ because I was going to cancel and was offered a “cash discount”. It took him about 3 minutes to undo my lock, however he said the price was so high because of the time it would take to undo the lock without damage. 3 minutes? since then I was quoted by other locksmiths in the area, and they all said they would do the same service for 80-150$. I was also told by other professionals that “breaking the door handle” was extremely unusual as my lock is very standard and straightforward to pick. I think it was used as a tactic to make me spend more money because I was desperate to get in. The whole interaction was incredibly uneasy, I feel taken advantage of by this company and would give 0 stars if I could.
