Had a great experience with Sylvain at The Brick in Gatineau. We went in several times to test different mattresses and he was incredibly patient and helpful every time. He walked us through the differences between each type, answered all our questions, and helped us find the perfect fit. He was so helpful that we ended up buying two mattresses. Excellent service, highly recommend seeing Sylvain next time you are looking for a mattress.

We had a great experience at The Brick Gatineau with the sales team — our salesperson was very helpful and friendly. We asked if we could buy the floor model, and he kindly went to check with his manager and got it approved, which made us really happy!
However, the experience went downhill afterward. We were told to go around to the loading dock to pick it up — this is the area where large transport trucks load, with no ramps, only stairs. The employee opened the garage doors, left the unit there, and when my mom (who is of a certain age) politely asked if he could help load it into our vehicle, he simply said, “It’s not my job.”
We were very disappointed. The unit wasn’t light, and it was difficult to bring it down from such a high loading dock. It would’ve made much more sense to offer a trolley or let us pick it up at the front entrance, especially for customers who aren’t equipped to lift heavy items themselves.
If you plan on picking something up yourself from The Brick Gatineau, make sure you bring help — or better yet, arrange for delivery.

Nous avons demandé s’il était possible d’acheter le modèle de plancher, et il a eu la gentillesse d’aller vérifier avec son supérieur et a obtenu l’approbation, ce qui nous a rendus très heureux!
Par contre, l’expérience s’est gâtée par la suite. On nous a demandé d’aller au quai de chargement pour récupérer l’article — un endroit utilisé pour les gros camions, sans rampe, seulement des escaliers. L’employé a ouvert les grandes portes de garage, a laissé le meuble là, et lorsque ma mère (qui n’est plus toute jeune) lui a gentiment demandé s’il pouvait aider à le mettre dans le véhicule, il a simplement répondu : « Ce n’est pas mon travail. »
Nous avons été très déçus. L’article était lourd et il a été difficile de le descendre du quai. Il aurait été beaucoup plus logique de nous prêter un chariot ou de nous permettre de faire la cueillette à l’avant du magasin, surtout pour les clients qui ne peuvent pas soulever de lourdes charges.
Si vous prévoyez faire une cueillette vous-même au Brick de Gatineau, assurez-vous d’avoir de l’aide — ou encore mieux, optez pour la livraison.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
Yes. You may cancel your order by visiting any Brick location. Purchases made online and in store are refundable at any time prior to product delivery or pick up. Refunds are made only to the same credit or debit card used to pay for the order. Cash payments will be refunded to a debit card or via cheque and mailed to the person who paid for the order. Deposits on Special Order items are non-refundable.
Can I get my deposit refunded in cash if I paid in cash?
Unfortunately, not every Brick store will have enough cash on hand or the exact dollar amount required to refund your deposit in cash. We're happy to refund cash payments to a debit card, or via a cheque made out to the individual listed on the invoice.
