- SASwemy Aguirre1 day ago1.0We had a very disappointing experience at the Lowe’s Pro Desk with Charlene. From the beginning, her attitude toward us felt unwelcoming and dismissive. We truly hope this was not influenced by us being Hispanic, but unfortunately, that is how it came across. At one point, we were trying to complete a payment over the phone, and she became visibly irritated because she could not understand or spell the name of the person making the payment. The situation was handled with little patience, which made us feel uncomfortable. We originally planned to make additional purchases, but due to the way we were treated, we decided to leave instead. It is very discouraging to experience this kind of behavior, especially considering everything happening in the world and here in the United States today. We believe in treating everyone with respect and kindness, and we hope this feedback helps improve customer service for future customers.

I came in with an idea of a project I saw online and he helped with the choice of wood, measurements, and (of course 😉) the cut. I felt he went above and beyond. It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
