We had a very disappointing experience at the Lowe’s Pro Desk with Charlene. From the beginning, her attitude toward us felt unwelcoming and dismissive. We truly hope this was not influenced by us being Hispanic, but unfortunately, that is how it came across.
At one point, we were trying to complete a payment over the phone, and she became visibly irritated because she could not understand or spell the name of the person making the payment. The situation was handled with little patience, which made us feel uncomfortable.
We originally planned to make additional purchases, but due to the way we were treated, we decided to leave instead. It is very discouraging to experience this kind of behavior, especially considering everything happening in the world and here in the United States today.
We believe in treating everyone with respect and kindness, and we hope this feedback helps improve customer service for future customers.

My wife and I were looking for hardwood flooring and some other items, Shane in the flooring department jumped right in and helped us load 28 boxes of hardwood on flat carts and then came out to the parking lot and helped us load it in the truck. Shane's extra effort was very much appreciated and definitely makes want to come back to the Waynesboro Lowe's for our home improvement needs, Thanks Shane Danny and Deb

Rome was my helper today with cutting pieces of plywood. What was wonderful about this employee? I came in with an idea of a project I saw online and he helped with the choice of wood, measurements, and (of course 😉) the cut. I felt he went above and beyond. These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
