I missed two days work for these people, when I demand my money back i get a run around story about how I'll have to wait for my money. My family and I will be closing our business and personal accounts and never shopping with lowes again, you people are clowns.

Took it to Lowes in Washington for a replacement under their 'lifetime hassle free' guarantee that is bogus. They refused to replace it because they said it came from a tool set and I needed to call Kobalt customer service for a replacement. They additionally stated there was no link with Lowes and Kobalt (owned by Lowes according to Wikipedia). Blatant lies. Kobalt customer service was answered by Lowes customer service who gave me a number and told me to return to the store. Blatant liars with the biggest hassal I ever experienced returning an item. I suggest shopping elsewhere if looking for quality guaranteed tools. Wasted another 15 minutes calling customer service as suggested below. Believe Lowes refers to it as customer disservice department.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
