    Extended warranty department is rude, even to the Lowes customer service rep who was trying to get me in touch with someone to take my complaint. She reminded him that she also had a recorded line and was from Lowes corporate, and I certainly hope he is disciplined. I may never buy another appliance at Lowes after this experience, and basically when I ask for a reference ID number or call ID, im told there isnt one, and he basically tells me to have a good day and hangs up. My washer dies and I confirm an appt for the 3rd, between 8am-12pm...take off work....no tech, i call the company "A-1" who rudely says i never had an appt and Lowes has no access to their system to confirm appts. But I have an email....nope. we will be there on the 4th. Make sure you check your spam folder cause thats where our email messages go. Really??!! So now I have my ELDERLY mother having to be there. The tech calls me on my drive to work..."I cant take the dryer off, or move it out, the customer has to do that" what??? No one told this customer that and I talked with your scheduling ppl. "I'd have to reschedule and bring someone with me and its 150 dollar charge" we'll, needless to say im not sure he diagnosed anything because his evasiveness at my house with my mother had her so frustrated the conversation did not go well. So what so I find? They close the claim and say the customer was "rude". Ridiculous. Now Im set up with another company...Sears. didnt they go bankrupt? Nope, they still do repair, but you call them and their automated system has no record of a claim with my phone number, but I have a confirmed appt on the 7th from 8AM to 5PM. That isnt a confirmed appointment, thats an entire day of waiting. But I cant because I have to work....call Lowe's , yeah, they are legit, hit reschedule appointment....November 20th or 21st??!!!! Craziness. Call Lowes today, talked to a very nice lady in corporate customer service who transfers me to Mervin, who was mad about her transferring me and i mentioning id like to talk to a supervisor. Gave her grief but she so very tactfully reminded him that HE was on her recorded line. So, I tell my story, I know wont have a washer for Thanksgiving, at least, and since I have to wait two more weeks since A-1 cant handle the elderly, I may not have a washer until January. Its the holidays. I want a new washer. Mervin says he can ask it to be escalated and ill know in 1-2 business days. Ok....who else do you have in my area that could do it sooner? Basically excuses that he cant look without closing my claim....I say" you're dispatch, you cant just use my address and see other availability??? Finally he does that and says the only availability this week is A-1. We'll, seeing as though they cant work with the elderly, thats obviously not an option. So at this point Mervin is obviously done talking to me. Wants me off the phone. I ask for a reference number. Im told their isnt one. How about a call ID? Nope. "Its on your account". "We'll, Mervin, that doesnt help me does it?" Basically, thank you have a nice day and ends the call. The only bright spot was the corporate customer service. Felt bad for her. So, will I get a washer before Christmas? It may take a miracle. Do I never buy appliances from Lowe's again? I guess that depends on if I get a new washer this week. Otherwise, the Grinch has ruined the holidays. Mervin hopefully gets a lump of coal, and maybe a pink slip.

    It took 3 people to find what I was looking for. I didn't get his name but the customer service gentleman stayed with me until he found what I wanted

    Poor service not keeping shelfs stocked, can't keep there word on there warrantys at this lowes.

    Minus one star for having the part I needed in an unlabeled box, along with a hundred other unlabeled boxes, atop an 8' tall shelf. Fortunately staff member John helped me find it and brought a rolling ladder to retrieve it for me.
