We have spent countless hours in this Lowe’s trying to buy products as we renovate our home and the customer service has made our time here not even worth it. The only praise I have for this place is the gentleman that works in the lighting department… he knows his stuff and is respectful. Every other employee we’ve worked with has either been rude or has no idea what they are doing. The only way we could take vinyl flooring samples home in order to figure out what flooring we would like was to buy 15ft of it… they couldn’t get us any samples and said then they guessed we couldn’t buy any flooring! We ended up leaving the paint counter without any paint because of how rude the lady was working there. The man at the check out was incredibly rude as well… the man working in the counter top department gave us a quote for countertops that was several hundred dollars more than the price on their website. When we mentioned it to him he then admitted that the quote he gave us didn’t seem right… sorry Lowe’s but we will be taking our service elsewhere.

Lowe’s is using a lot of cheap labor that barely speaks English. You can’t communicate with the people who are supposed to be installing things in your home. Then you have to go to the store yourself to try to figure out their mistakes.
The associates in the store literally say they have no control over who corporate hires as contractors. They just wash their hands of it and say they don’t know the contractors because they’re “separate.”
We hired them for flooring and a dryer installation—both were disasters. The people who came to our house didn’t speak any English. When we tried to return the items, the store said they couldn’t help because the contractors and the store are two separate entities.
Lowe’s clearly doesn’t want to take responsibility for the mistakes their contractors make. So disappointing. I spent my hard earning money for garbage work.

I only come in here when I have to. You are lucky if you find one of the three items you come in for. We were told the store will only sell the most popular items. Sometimes you need items or hardware that are not in high demand. That is what a hardware store is.
