This is my first review because i dont usually write these but, POC!! (Especially black folks!!) Dont come here, dont support this location. They cater to the whites and hispanics only. But they will follow you around and then play stupid when you confront them. If you are black (and speak spanish) make sure you let them know you speak Spanish. Maybe they'll treat you a little better. After seeing this first hand I am disgusted and will no longer be shopping at Lowe's as a whole.

I've owned a few Kobalt tools for many years. In fact they were the first tools I've ever purchased when I started my career in the diesel/automotive industry. (All purchased from Lowes) For many years I've had no complaints about the tools or the brand. That was at least up until now. I had a few broken hand tools i was looking to have replaced under their lifetime warranty. So I went to my local Lowes to have them replaced. After standing around for a total of 45 mins between standing at customer service and standing at the tool section (where I was instructed to go from customer service) I received no help in attempting to exchange my tools. I ended up leaving and decided to come back the next day to try again. I went back to customer service and after again standing for about 20mins, I finally got someone to help me. They took me to the tool section to look for a replacement however they did not have one to replace it and was instructed by the employee that I should have contacted Kobalt and filed warranty through them first, got a claim number and then I should have gone to the Lowes to exchange tools. At this point I was so irritated with how much "hassle" I was going through just to simply get some hand tools exchanged. I contacted Lowes online support to try to get some help that way but I had no luck there either as they kept telling me that I needed a receipt and I purchased it too long ago even after sending them information that came directly from Kobalt and Lowes stating that a receipt is not needed for warranty. I decided to go to another Lowes that at least had the tools in stock to attempt the exchange there. After driving 30 mins to another Lowes, I found the tool that was equivalent to the one I had however the tool was broken and it was the only one left on the shelf. Also the quality was not nearly as good as the one I previously had. So after striking out 3 times I've decided I was done with the Kolbalt brand and the huge hassle it is just to try and get a tool exchanged through Lowes. I've attached a photo of the sign that they display over all of their hand tools stating "Hassle Free Lifetime Guarantee" which I though was hilarious because I stood by this sign forever waiting for help. I've since then took my business to Harbor Freight as I had a broken hand tool from them and It was absolutely hassle free as I was in and out of the store in less than 5 mins with a new tool in my hand. Lowes, you have been such a disappointment to me and my experience with you was terrible. So now as my Kobalt tools break, they will be getting dumped in the trash and I will be going to Harbor Freight to get my tools as they are the true "Hassle Free" tool company.

I like shopping this store overall. My one star review is for their AI system that is used when trying to call. I asked for product info, then 6' Emerald Green Arbourvitae, it did not understand, then I asked for nursery stock. Then after listening to useless info, I had to repeat my request. Then AI proceeded to give me info on a different product. Long story short, after waiting on hold, getting transfered twice, and finally got lawn & garden, the associate that answered, when asked the question 'Do you have 6' Emerald Green Arbourvitae in stock' simply responded 'I don't know'. A 6 minute call, no satisfaction. I miss qualified human beings.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
