OK, After replacing a septic effluent pump that had the wrong size discharge plumbing size,I began my journey to size the new pump with the proper 2 in pvc and fittings. The original flotec pump failed after 11 years, but after researching, I found that the reducer discharge from 2in to 1&1/2 on that 1/2 hp pump shortens the life of the pump.,also there was speculation if that tiny weep hole was drilled in the pipe below the check valve to prevent airlock.Because of the new 2in adaption ,the particular pump that I have has 3 legs which sits on a raised plate in the tank and is now higher than the inlet pipe to the drain field.I found that Lowe's in quakertown, pa to be the most efficient supplier of all plumbing inventory in the area.I needed a 30 degree street elbow combined with a 22.5 fitting, they had this.to make a long story short ,this has been the most direct possible flow with no restriction and Lowe's of quakertown had made that possible with their many choices of fittings.

Don't buy anything electronic under 60 dollars. You'll have at best a 50/50chance of it working.

I had posted about this several months ago. I recently got new windows installed. And let me set this up, I live in a first floor condominium and I had all my windows, patio door & storm door replaced. When I got them replaced per the HOA requirements I had to get exactly what was in place for the windows. My window slide side-by-side, not up and down . Those three windows consisted of a stationary. (Frozen) panel on the left and the right panel slides back-and-forth and has a screen. I recently discovered quite accidentally that both windows slide back-and-forth. This is such an egregious security risk for anybody who’s on the first floor because if you open your window, there’s no way to prevent somebody from entering your home unauthorized. I’m pretty freaked out at this point, terrified to leave the windows open because somebody may gain entry to my home. Of course I did put a call into Lowe’s and they then said that the installer would have to come out and see what was going on, the Installer rep came out and questioned me as to whether I selected this type of Window. I explained to him that that was never discussed and silly old me. I assumed what was getting removed was getting replaced exactly the way it was prior.. Of course he told me Lowe’s will be contacting you to discuss the solution. OK it’s been three days. Never heard anything so I did call Lowe’s yesterday and was told oh yeah somebody will be getting back to you. Never again! I need a lot of work in this place because I bought it as is, but I will never go to Lowe’s again ever !
