Josh in hardware (screws, bolts, nuts, etc.) has been super helpful helping me get my rooftop cargo carrier the way I want it with hardware. He graciously helped me 2 times on Christmas Eve, despite it being almost closing time. We used our cargo box on vacation and it worked okay. I decided it needed some changes and we went in today (1/8) and he helped us out again with some more bolts, and rivets. He is super helpful and I am so glad that he was there to help.

We had windows installed in July. They did not give us a choice on screens and ordered modern ones that fall down and leave the window open to the outdoors. One of the latches was broken during install and we have been waiting for a replacement for 6 months now. Every 2 weeks they call with updates. They even said the part was at the warehouse finally and when the installer went to pick it up it was not there. Hence, the process was started all over again. Imagine getting calls every 2 weeks for 6 months. It will likely be another 6 months to a year before it is properly fixed. I do not recommend going through Lowe’s for windows.
We also used Lowe’s for a luxury vinyl stairway install, which I would also not recommend. Please keep in mind that they are not interested in how the completed job looks. They do the absolute bare minimum, don’t have all the required supplies to complete the job in one trip, and leave everything a complete mess. Needless to say, we will never be going with Lowe’s for any home improvement install in the future, even if it is the cheapest option.
