If I could give this store a ZERO, I would. I made the mistake of purchasing a front door and screen door from Lowe's and it's been a nightmare. I purchased a screen door and front door approximately 18 MONTHS AGO. In addition to multiple issues and months of delays during the installation, the screen door itself has defects, including a broken screen and a window that will not close. The associate forgot to order the screen door initially, and I went an additional 3 months without a screen door when they removed my old one, then the problems just kept going from there. Despite ongoing communication and repeated delays with Lowe’s customer service, the issue remains unresolved. After waiting three months for the most recent service visit, in which they told me they were going to replace the door, an installer arrived today with a part unrelated to the actual problem. We have reached an impasse in getting this resolved, and it's abundantly clear that Lowe's is unable and unwilling to meet it's commitment. I just had to file a complaint with the BBB and Attorney General's office in the hope of getting this resolved, before taking the next step and filing a lawsuit. My advice: avoid the aggravation and look elsewhere for your home improvement needs.

This review is squarely about Danielle who seems to be some kind of a manager. I bought a pressure washer and pursuant to the policy it can be returned within 30 days provided that it is unopened and unused. The policy further states that it is returnable within 2 days in general ( open and used included). I attempt to return a pressure washer within 30 days but outside of two days that was sold OPENED. The box was open. The tape was cut - but the product was unused and intact inside the open box. The package was sold in open condition and yet the policy requires that it be returned in unopened condition! Further examination of their inventory on their shelves reveals additional pressure washers that have had their tape ripped open and so they sit there on the shelves in open condition. Yet they're sold as new. If you are to purchase one of these pressure washers, you will be held to a standard that you cannot possibly meet because it was already sold in open condition! This is an unethical business practice. Danielle, instead of being a good customer service lady, you instead become a Karen and refuse to accept the return even though you clearly can see that the item was perfect and unused. Although the box was opened through no fault of my own. You could have grabbed a piece of tape, sealed the box up and put it back on your shelf alongside the other boxes that have had their taped seal broken. So now you are a Karen, Danielle, and I want you to look at your returns because this box is going to be returned within a day or two through a more helpful associate. Perhaps find a better line of work where you can actually be more helpful. Instead, you now have a person who is going to reference you as a useless individual associated with this store.

I ordered 5 large sliding doors and a 1 front entry door at the end of May. It was explained that the doors were ordered and would take a couple of weeks. I followed after 5 weeks later in mid July after hearing nothing from Lowes and I was notified that the entry door came in damaged. I asked Lowes what date did the door arrive damaged and I was told mid June. I asked when will the new door arrive and It was explained to me that they never bothered to re-order a new door. I had them re-order the new entry door and I was told that it would arrive in August. I followed up in August to be told that the door was discontinued. I later found out that the the door was in fact in the back room at Lowes. Lowes scheduled install and the doors were finally installed in the 1st week of November, over 5 months after ordering the doors. Total lack of communication from the store manager. I was told on no less than 3 occasions that the store manager would reach out. I did not even ask to speak to the manager. The Lowes customer support team stated that the manager was going to reach out to go over the delay. Each time I received no call. I received no communication from Lowes. Every update and follow up was initiated by me. Everyone else I dealt with along the way was great. Customer support tried to help. The installers were awesome. I was glad to have the doors installed and was not going to leave a review as I understand that things can go wrong but I received a phone call from Lowes stating that there was a $700+ additional balance due for additional labor above and beyond what was agreed to back in May. Lowes did take care of the balance but the whole ordering process was flawed. I was left to assume that the store manager was indifferent.

The absolute worst! I ordered for delivery a leaf blower, and received a beat up, chewed up, defective used blower. OK, mistakes will happen, but they made it impossible to return, impossible to replace, everyone I spoke to was less helpful and less effective than the next, including the store manager. Torture! The situation is still not resolved.

In August I purchased some paint and primer. Knowing the space I was painting had glass sections, I bought more than I needed figuring i could return. Before I left I checked the return policy with an associate to make sure I got it back in time. They told me there was a 90 day return policy. I came back within the 90 days, only to be told its only 30 days with paint. Management refused to help and insisted it was company policy. When I called corporate they confirmed the 30 day policy but said the manager is able to override. The managers on duty at that time refused to do so, despite their employee being the one who misled me. This is a business that will lie to you and then steal your money.
