- BDBill DoukourisApr 4, 20265.0Today we rented space at: Extra Space Storage 700 E Carson St, Pittsburgh, PA for college dorm items and furniture to be stored between semesters. The facility seemed new, well keep and secure. The representative was transparent with the options and pricing, patient answering all my questions, and showed us the units we were interested in. We were sold and we executed the rental. I think the representative was Jeff. Shout out to Jeff for providing great customer service!
- MEMelissa EarhartMar 31, 20264.0The people I spoke to prior to renting were very friendly and helpful. However, I found it very frustrating that the prices for the same unit fluctuated drastically on a regular basis. Plus I learned after renting that even though I chose the minimum 3 month commitment that was more expensive than the 6 month commitment (per month) that the price can go up after the 3 months. I only need it for 5 months so I was ok spending more per month for 5 months than for 6 but now I could be spending a significant amount more. Nobody could tell me if for sure it would go up after month 3 and how much it would be. So now I just wait and hope for the best. We actually haven't moved in so I can't speak for the facility or the unit itself. I will update my review once we actually do!

- CBChels BFeb 19, 20262.0There’s nothing like being approached when there’s headphones on your head 🤮 I’m aware that my storage is on the third floor unfortunately there’s no other way to get to the first floor and meet my clients then the elevator and walking down the hall. I’m not quite certain why that warranted an intervention this morning, but I would love it if, in the future, they could restrict interactions to past due notices or something else official. There’s nothing else in the contract permitting me from walking around the storage, especially since facilities and restrooms on the first floor. All in all it was a subpar interaction that I did not want this morning

You can really tell they care about their guests. The hotel itself was spotless — everything from the lobby to the room was clean and well-maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was a relaxing experience and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
