  Pop-a-lock is a very professional locksmith service company. Emeka assisted me with ordering and programming a spare key fob for my van. He provided clear communication throughout the process, and the pricing was very reasonable. Definitely recommended.

  Google machine says they are open until 9:00, so called last night, half expecting to get a call service, which was fine. I was planning to leave a message, but they answers and the following was the very odd conversation I had with the guy: Me: Hi, I have a locking fuel cap that the key broke off in, and I need to get a locksmith out to see if we can fix it. Guy: … Me: hello? Guy: uh, we don’t work on locking fuel caps. Me: Oh, it’s just a regular lock in a fuel cap on an old car. Guy: we don’t work on that. Me: it’s literally just a standard lock, with the key broken off in it. Guy: I don’t know what that is. Me: again, it’s just a regular lock, pretty simple-looking actually. Guy: I don’t know what that is, we don’t work on that. Call someone else. *click* I guess they don’t like money haha

  Emeka was thorough, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. I have an unusual car key I had taken to another shop to get a duplicate, and after I waited two weeks they told me they ordered the wrong one and couldn't do it. Emeka at Pop-A-Lock, on the other hand, knew right away over the phone what key I needed, and let me make an appointment on a Sunday, when they are usually closed, to have it copied. Grateful there are still people who care about what they do, and do it well.

  After the big snow storm and all the shoveling, I discovered I had a hole in my pocket and lost my spare car key. Needed that key. I called Pop-A-Lock in Paoli, PA and they were able to make a duplicate key in a short amount of time. Relieved. They were very friendly and worked in a professional manner to take care of my concerns at a very reasonable price. I do recommend them highly.

  Friday morning, my ignition key unexpectedly detached from the key fob as I started my car. Made the mistake of driving to work instead of just working from home in Philadelphia. I was unable to restart the car from the outdoor parking lot of my job in Paoli. Had to leave the car there and catch a ride home. Fast forward to Monday after receiving a recommendation to try Pop-A-Lock, I got in contact with Emeka to secure an appointment. First, he gave me instructions in how to start my car even with the detached key. Then I visited the premises and he gave me some valuable options to consider. When all was said and done, I opted for a new key that would be separate from the key fob. I saved myself over 50% of what it would have cost if I had a new replacement fob programmed along with a new key made. Emeka was clear in his communication with me, provided quality service and treated me as a valued customer. I recommend him as your locksmith if you are in Paoli or anywhere in Philadelphia's western suburbs.
