- HBHelen BorgmannNov 16, 20251.0First of all let me begin by saying I have spoken to several representatives from the company regarding this issue and nobody was able to provide a refund for raising the rates without my knowledge and only sent a pathetic notification “by mail” which I didn’t receive. So don’t reply to this complaint in the attempt to make yourself look as if you care because you don’t. I signed up a few months ago and my payment was set to $80 a month. I had noticed on my bank statement that I was being charged $150. When I called to get that fixed they told me they raised the rates. I was not once notified nor did I give permission for them to charge my card for more than I agreed to. They refused to give me a refund and only offered to lower my rate to $104 or to move me into a smaller unit. This is unacceptable customer service and there are PLENTY of other storage unit facilities that are way cheaper than $150 a month. Be aware that they WILL increase your rates without you knowing. And not by a couple of dollars, they will nearly double your rate. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to store your belongings if you don’t want to be taken advantage of and have money stolen from your account.The worst customer service I have ever experienced.
