So a little over a week ago my mother who is 75 years old stopped in to buy a flashlight & a whistle. It's obvious that store doesn't sell whistles but she didn't know this. She asked an associate for help finding the whistle & his response was "why for ICE?" My mother was taken back by the comment. But didn't react. This is not funny nor is it an appropriate comment. I called the store asked to speak to the GM. Was given an assistant manager to speak with. Asked him to have the GM give me a call. Still have not received a call. This is highly inappropriate, it's profiling & intimidating.

I have a verified military account with Lowe’s. I do not carry a physical wallet, as I use tap pay for purchases and keep clear photos of the front and back of my driver’s license on my phone. In Pennsylvania, this is a legally acceptable form of carrying identification, and I routinely use it without issue. Gas stations scan it for age verification, and Penske has scanned it for truck rentals. However, Lowe’s requires the physical license, even though the only purpose is to confirm that my name and photo match what is already displayed on the screen for my verified military account. It’s disappointing that the process is more restrictive than necessary, especially for verified military customers. Home Depot has implemented a more streamlined system for veterans, and as a result, they will be receiving my business moving forward.

Bought a washer with an extended warranty. Water flooded behind the shoot behind the wall and into my bathroom. The other day. So we called to get help and have it repaired. As when we looked at it, the initial installation was done incorrectly with the water hose. The technician shoved the hose into the hole in the back of the washer and wrapped it and wrapped it with electrical tape. Who in the heck does that? We had a date that they were supposed to come out.And fix this. But then they canceled on us and said they can't come out until the middle of the next week. Every number that I have been provided with and called.I have got nothing but a run around. This is definitely made me aware of stores like this. In the past, I have only ever bought from reputable dealers that deal in selling appliances that they back up. I won't make this mistake again. And I hope you folks take something from this and not make the mistake that I did.

Lowes delivery crew broke the water line to my washer while installing a washer and left. I had to have a restoration crew out to rip out drywall and flooring and my basement ceiling. This is the second time they have done significant damage, last time was a fridge- you can’t make stuff this up. When I attempt to speak to someone at this location who sold me the washer- they tell me to call corporate. I bought a washer from this location and now my house is torn apart. Please don’t buy any appliances from this location. I went to local stores first, but it was a 3 week wait time and my washer had already stopped working.
