  Pye-Barker has been very helpful and went above and beyond for me. I was with Securitech and then "B Safe" until Pye-Barker acquired them. I had been having an issue with B Safe for several years (they were charging me for monitoring that I did not have). When I reached out to Pye-Barker about it, they sent Christopher out who checked out my system and explained to me that they were willing to make it right (and even give me a significant credit), even though it was def not their responsibility and God knows I certainly wasn't expecting it. I truly believe Pye-Barker is a reputable company. Also, their sales person Christopher was very kind and took the time to thoroughly explain things to me. I highly recommend Pye-Barker. I have not found another company in all my 46 years of life who was willing to take a loss in an attempt to right the wrongs of a former company that they acquired.

  I inherited a security system from B-Safe when I took over a business. B-Safe has been difficult and expensive to work with. They did not try to understand my needs, and sent me an unnecessary technician and charged me for it. Updates to the system are incredibly expensive, and they are inflexible to my needs (for instance, they do not do any sort of networked fire alarms). They also will lock you into a two year contract.

  We were a client of Advent Security for 15 years then our account was purchased by "B Safe Security." Our company closed, our lease ended, and we provided notice to B Safe to discontinue our service. They refused our disconnection request and claimed that we were bound by a 3-year term even though we have already completed 15 years of service. Now, they have sent a collection agency after us which is demanding that we pay TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS for services we never received. "B Careful" if you are thinking of hiring this company! - Edited 11/2/2023 - We did not receive notice that the "buyout" was ever waived. The collection agency you turned our account over to will need to provide a letter emailed to our email address on file, as we no longer have a physical address, then we will edit this review.

  I contacted DKS (DOORKING) about a problem with my Security Gate key pad system. I could not operate the Gate by telephone - merely got a loud hum like sound. The telephone company could not solve the problem after more than one hour of trying. DKS REFUSED to help because I am a homeowner - not a contractor. Other security sources were not helpful. I called Advent Security and left a message about the problem. My call was promptly returned by John, who solved the problem immediately. He told me which internal wire to check and he was right. Problem solved, no charge. He could not have been nicer or more professional. I now have a Security Gate company for life. (The next system I buy won't be from DKS.)
