  I inherited a security system from B-Safe when I took over a business. B-Safe has been difficult and expensive to work with. They did not try to understand my needs, and sent me an unnecessary technician and charged me for it. Updates to the system are incredibly expensive, and they are inflexible to my needs (for instance, they do not do any sort of networked fire alarms). They also will lock you into a two year contract.

  Our business has been a long time Advent Security customer. I don't know what is happening over there but BSafe is horrible and has been for some time. Zero customer service. No replies to voice messages, emails, etc. False late invoice statements regardless of proof of payment. We were charged over $500 for a quoted $100 smoke alarm replacement. Over $500 for a new wifi connection. And they have yet to address an alarm issue on the panel for which I called three times months ago. UPDATE: I received a voicemail on 12/23 to call back with a direct extension regarding this review. An option for extension input is unavailable. I was on hold via the phone tree for over 4 minutes. Upon finally speaking with a human, I was then directed to the voicemail of Security. UPDATE: I'm happy to say that we're DONE with Advent/BSAFE/Pye-Barker ... what a joke. They still haven't released the radio. So happy we're done!

  I contacted DKS (DOORKING) about a problem with my Security Gate key pad system. I could not operate the Gate by telephone - merely got a loud hum like sound. The telephone company could not solve the problem after more than one hour of trying. DKS REFUSED to help because I am a homeowner - not a contractor. Other security sources were not helpful. I called Advent Security and left a message about the problem. My call was promptly returned by John, who solved the problem immediately. He told me which internal wire to check and he was right. Problem solved, no charge. He could not have been nicer or more professional. I now have a Security Gate company for life. (The next system I buy won't be from DKS.)
