- JDJared D3 days ago2.0I had a very frustrating experience with same-day delivery from Lowe's in Johnstown. I ordered 10 bags of garden soil, 6 bags of mulch, and a paint sample. Only the soil and paint sample were delivered. The six bags of mulch were never delivered, even though the receipt shows the order as complete. To make matters worse, I paid $39 for same-day delivery, and still did not receive my full order. I have photo and video security footage clearly showing that the mulch was not delivered. What made this even more frustrating was the lack of customer service. I made multiple calls to the store, was disconnected several times, transferred around, and never received any follow-up. I was ultimately told that once the items leave the store, it’s no longer their responsibility. That’s unacceptable. I ordered directly from Lowe’s, so ensuring the order is fulfilled correctly should absolutely be their responsibility. I’ve been a long-time customer and have spent thousands of dollars at this location, which makes this experience even more disappointing. At this point, I’ve paid for items I never received and paid extra for a delivery service that failed. I would strongly recommend double-checking your deliveries or reconsidering using their contracted store delivery service altogether.

Well this just makes not only for a bad sale but a missed sale as well just because of one persons attitude and a manager to bust for customers. These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
