  I chose this shop based on reviews and because it was close. I walked in and was greeted rudely when asked if I could get some shoes cleaned and a belt, instead of politely saying no and or we can't I was told there was nowhere to put it and asked what service I wanted (clean shoes) he looked and said what do you mean ? I then grabbed my stuff thanked them for the time and walked out. That others like you want to be treated, even if was able to get them cleaned I would have walked out.

  I’m a plumber and pipefitter who started wearing thorogood religiously in my first year of apprenticeship. I was sad to retire my first pair as they were so comfortable and the leather was soft and fitted to my foot and ankle. I naturally replaced my first pair for a second. I did some research and found that Brandywine was a thorogood certified repair shop and gave them a try. They did a terrific job!! The soles are original thorogood sole, provided new laces, provided new American flag lace accents, reconstructed the foot bed and gave my boots the leather conditioning they desperately needed. And a very affordable price! For a boot that costs $250 a pop I’m so glad to be able to recycle a shoe with good leather so it can have another life instead of buying a brand new pair. Definitely keep this shop in mind for repair or reconditioning services.

  Affordable, good quality, knowledgeable, wide variety. Everything you could look for, for outside work. I was nervous it was going to be more expensive than I was anticipating because there aren't any prices online. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in the store and seen everything was cheaper than what I thought. You will not be disappointed, it is worth the trip!
