    Went there to grab some cleaning supplies as.well as some supplies for the yard in they had everything I needed plus the staff was very nice and helpful

    I came in to Lowes at 4000 Union deposit road, Harrisburg, PA 17109 on july 4th 2025 to purchase a Whirlpool dishwasher. My plan was to pay with my bank credit card. The Lowes associate at the appliance was an african american lady and she told me that why do I want to use my credit card to pay for it. She said she can open a credit card for me that will be interest free if paid off in 12 months. I was wowed by the 12 months interest free and I said ok. I also thought that she could get a comission from opening an account for me, which is a good thing for her. I never bothered to check but I was going into a Lowes store to pay every month. On January 31st, I went in to pay and I wrote my balance of $89.69 at the back of my receipt and I kept it. I just scrolled through my email today (02/11/2026) and i saw that my balance is now $93.79 and that got me curious. All along, I never opened an online account because my plan when I got the credit card was to pay it all by March which will be less than 12 months before interest would kick in. I logged in to the online account for the first time since july 2025 and I saw that I have been paying interest since August 2025. I called the number on my Lowes credit card to ask why I was being charged interest on an account that was supposed to be interest free for 12 months. I was told that the account that was opened for me was never a zero percent interest rate. I have paid $106.20 in interest since July that I bought the appliance. If I had gone ahead to use my usual credit card, I would not pay this much. I felt scammed. I knew the employee intentionally lured me to benefit herself. She knew what she was doing. She broke trust. It was a hard lesson for me not to trust any associate again. Thank you Lowes, sorry, I won't be returning ever agian. I tried to even call the store, no human being was around to pick the phone.

    I’m the son writing this review for my elder parents. My sister is the caregiver for both my father who has cancer and mother, she was doing a routine check in the basement and found the exhaust pipes connected to the power vent hot water heater had detached from one another that was on 1/22/2026. The hot water heater and exhaust pipes had been installed through Lowes/1800-Heaters Inc on 1/7/2025. Luckily she caught it in time, however she experienced dizziness and nausea due to exposure to carbon monoxide leaking into the basement from the disconnected pipes, it was later discovered that the pipes were connected to one another with out any adhesive. This seems to be reoccurring problem with some of the home repair services because this newest water heater was installed after the exhaust pipe fell off the previous water heater. It was only discovered after the exhaust pipe fell off that the water heater was the wrong type and as a result melted part of the pvc exhaust pipes, (which is why part of the exhaust pipes was replaced by 1800 Heaters) that heater was installed in 2023 and needed to be completely replaced. My mother tried calling both Lowe’s and 1800 Heaters to resolve the issue because the water heater was still under warranty but was given the run around and attitude from 1800 Heaters. Fortunately, my mother was able to call a different repair company for an emergency service visit before the big winter storm, and had the pipes repaired on 1/24/2026. In conclusion my parents have been met with attitude and disdain for just enlisting help and that is truly unacceptable!

    I've been trying to get a refund for the past week on a damaged delivery. I don't even live near a Lowe's, but they won't meet me in the middle on anything regarding a return. I've been lied to, disregarded, shrugged off, and turned away even though it was there mistake. So rather than creating a solution to the problem they caused, they want me to make things right which has been an even greater inconvenience.
