- JWJohn WFeb 4, 20242.0Had three keys made to fit the same four locks on two doors; doorknob and deadbolt locks on each. None of the new keys worked when first tried. Only after inserting and removing each key about 50 times and using lubricant did their roughness wear off and they finally started working very stiffly. Never had this problem before with any copied keys, and I won't use this key copying/cutting method again.
