Every single time, Lowes has given me poor customer service and created headaches for me--they've cancelled orders on me without notifying me, for online orders things have been listed in stock and then they're refunded because lo and behold they are out of stock, they've overly complicated the return process, not to mention their national customer service is an absolute joke. I've spent 20 minutes on the phone with them for them to eventually say, "call your local store.". I don't know why I bother at all, I'd rather drive further and go to Hope Depot who have fallen on the opposite end of the spectrum in terms of customer service and overall satisfaction,

- JMJohn MFeb 4, 20262.0Lowe's is going downhill fast. I'll still give them two stars for oldtimes' sake and the fact that they are a little closer to me that The Home Depot. My opinion of Lowe's started descending when they teamed up with Synchrony for their credit card management and wanted to charge me two bucks to send me a paper Lowe's card bill. Call me old school, but I cancelled my long time account out of principal alone as I've done with other Synchrony cards. Today I found the exact light bulbs I was looking for there, unsuccesfully scanned them at the checkout lane and waited for an employee to tell me that she couldn't sell them to me because they shouldn't have been on the shelf in the first place. So I left and bought them elsewhere. I guess I will just have to consider my local Lowe's as a fallback option in the future.

The installation took over a year with horrible communication from the installation team. Several mis orders, showing at house w/o any notification. I do not typically comment on reviews. I tried multiple times to work with them and it has been an exhaustive and frustrating process.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
