    Very displeased with my recent order/delivery. We were scheduled for delivery on a Monday for a window of 7a-7p (crazy). They dont show. We call and find out that they have to reschedule for that Wednesday. We call Wednesday to confirm and they inform us that they have to reschedule, again, for that Saturday! When asked what can be done to compensate us for the inconvenience we're told to call AFTER we receive the delivery and maybe someone can do something. Very unhappy.

    Our area store and have good helpful workers. Yesterday for example a knowledgeable and helpful clerk in Plumbing for very good in guiding us to needed connectors for the sink and vanity we purchased. Even helped us load vanity on our cart. Though it was lunch time she stayed with us answering questions and help make our choices correct.

    I purchased a GE stove approximately 6 months ago and it died while cooking my Thanksgiving turkey thus my dinner was spoiled, and, I had a houseful of guests!! So I went to the Peach Street store at approximately 11:30 this morning looking for assistance and was met by Ivan, the assistant manager. He was cold and unsympathetic not attempting to resolve my problem in ANY WAY. He said all he could do was to give me the GE customer service number. After returning home I called the provided number and it turned out to be a non-working number. I then called the store requesting to speak with the manager and I was provided with another male assistant manager who remained nameless. He also was very unconcerned about my problem and would only give me a GE customer service number and had I not repeated that number back to him it would have also been incorrect. I know that this has not been Lowes practice in the past because approximately 3 years ago my new refrigerator died Christmas eve and Lowes delivered a new refrigerator Christmas morning. It is very disappointing that Lowes no longer holds their customers in high regard. So in the meantime I am left to deal the problem of my broken new stove by myself. The moral of the story is NEVER BY ANYTHING OF IMPROTANCE FROM LOWES ESPECIALLY THE PEACH STREET LOCATION.
