- KLKim Drinks LocalDec 30, 20253.0I'm not sure if it's this store or all of them but - Hobby Lobby doesn't accept apple pay/google pay. Check out takes FOREVER because the workers can't scan items - they have to type in numbers on your items individually by hand. This is why it looks like workers are scanning every item so intensely. The return line should be for returns only and not helping check people out that have 50+ items. This is such a horrible experience when you go to return one item and then wait for 30-40 minutes. The workers need a manager for everything! Every single time I go they're constantly calling the manager over to approval on something, to double check something, or literally ask them a question. They don't have anything on the register to get the managers attention so they just stand and yell for the manager. It's just uncomfortable. I will go back because I like crafts and they have great finds at sometimes a deal - but I might just spend more and go to Michaels after my experience the last 3 times going.
