  Saw what I presume to be the store manager, Griffen, be very rude to Sydney and Sarah (the cashiers that were assisting us). I know the holiday season is stressful, but watching a manager not even say “please” to his employees and joking about “how much he can upset them today” in front of customers was very disheartening. Definitely looked like a power trip situation. I hope someone can correct his attitude before they lose good employees.

  I have been in this store a total of about 5 times. ➕ 2/5 times were wonderful. I don't know most of their names and hate to assume gender identity in this culture, but these employees were extremely helpful and did not make me feel like an inconvenience (at all) for asking questions. ➖ 3/5 times people were kind of cold, shut-off, and slightly rude. They were pushy and seemed to only come help me to get me out the door. (Granted, due to MY life issues, I was unable to get there until late in the day and they were trying to close, but had someone helped me in the first half hour I was there, I probably could have been done within 10-15 minutes. My unfamiliarity with the layout of the store, creates major issues with trying to get in and out.) ➖ I have ADHD and major anxiety. When I go into a store, I (99.99% of the time) am there for something specific and want to get it and get out. The majority of the store's layout does not make sense to me, and forces me to pretty much walk every aisle to find what I'm looking for. This tends to cause my trip to take way more time than I have to expense. On top of that, there seems to be pretty consistent rearranging going on. 🤯 ➕ Due to MY aforementioned issues, the negative experiences may very well have been amplified, seeming worse than they actually were. If the experiences hadn't been staggered the way they were, I probably would not have gone back in that store. All of that being said, I also always try to give people the benefit of the doubt because I do realize and appreciate that we are all human, and just fumbling through life. 🧠 Maybe those other interactions weren't great because the employee(s) had been trying to (or were forced to for financial survival) push working through something terrible or they had to miss something special to be there that day I get that they work in retail and that congeniality is part of the gig, but I, personally, much more appreciate authenticity and find masking extremely unhealthy - and fake smiles and over enthusiasm nausiating.
