  We just had our 1934 fireplace re-done by Lou Curley's. They removed the firebox, straightened out the flue for proper venting, installed a new stainless steel flue liner then put in a new fireplace retrofit system. The three techs, Dave, Zach and Joe, were all very professional and left a clean site when they left at night. We are very pleased.

  We noticed the ash dump opening in the floor of our fireplace was getting full. Unfortunately the previous owner sealed off the opening in the basement to clean it out. We decided to have the opening in the floor of the fireplace sealed. Joe and Zach were friendly and professional, answered my questions, gave suggestions for cleaning and the different fireplace screens I might consider. I did my homework before choosing Curley's and calling for an appointment. I am so pleased that I did. I definitely recommend this company!

  I’m very disappointed with the service I received from this chimney company that hired for a family member . The technician arrived late without communication, and the work felt rushed. I had to follow up multiple times for updates, and my questions were not clearly answered. For the price I paid, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and attention to detail. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

  Very rarely do l have the experience of working with honest and sincere service companies. Today Lou Curley restored my faith. He provided an assessment of my issue at no cost but most importantly informed me that l did not need the service and product recommended by another company. So glad l did my homework. He could have taken advantage but did not. Thank you and continued blessings.

  Lou and Zack did a very professional inspection of our large 110 y.o. fireplace and chimney, video inspected and recorded chimney tiles and mortar joints all the way up, took measurements of the firebox and other details for confirming proper functioning, and made reasonable recommendations to remedy smoke problem (fireplace top lip too shallow for proper venting, add dimension) all for a very reasonable price with no upcharges or requests to perform unnecessary work. Very impressed and pleased. And they are a local business which we like to support.
