    I am extremely disappointed with both Ultimate Home Services and Lowe’s regarding the installation of my flooring in November 2024. From the start, the installation was done improperly and below industry standards. Numerous floorboards were broken during installation, and critical steps were completely skipped. No backer rod was installed, and no construction adhesive was used, despite both being required for a proper and durable installation. In addition, the installers left behind unused materials and told me they were “not necessary,” which was clearly incorrect. As a direct result of this poor workmanship, my floor has shifted and failed since installation. When I contacted Lowe’s and Ultimate Home Services to address these issues under the warranty, both companies refused to take responsibility or honor the warranty, despite the problems being caused by improper installation—not normal wear and tear. What’s most frustrating is that Lowe’s markets its installation services as professional and guaranteed, yet when serious issues arise, they deflect blame to the installer, and the installer offers no resolution. Customers are left stuck in the middle with defective work and no accountability. I trusted Lowe’s to stand behind the contractors they choose, and that trust was misplaced. I would not recommend Ultimate Home Services or Lowe’s installation services to anyone considering flooring installation. Save yourself the stress, time, and money and hire an independent, reputable contractor instead

    I bought a washer and dryer on November 29th, and as of today, December 17th, the washer and dryer have still not arrived at my apartment. It's incredible how inefficient their delivery service is, especially for supposedly such a large company. They rescheduled my delivery four times: the first time because the guy who helped me didn't add the installation kit, the second because they don't deliver in snowy weather, the third because they don't deliver on Thursdays and Fridays, and the fourth because they were only told to install the equipment, not deliver it. I had to call work to let them know I wouldn't be coming in so I could be home waiting for my washer and dryer, and today, when they were supposed to deliver them, they didn't show up either. After work, I'm going to go get the $1600 I paid for the appliances, demand a refund, and go to a small store where they sell cheaper appliances. If you have the opportunity to buy from Lowe's, I recommend you pass on it. Don't do it for the sake of your mental health and your time.

    I purchased a dishwasher to be delivered. The man that sold it to me. Assured me that it would be delivered even if I wasn't home. He even put a note on the order stating to leave it by my garage door. So now I'm being told they wouldn't leave it because no one was there to receive it. Even though it specifically says on order to leave it. The note they left on my door had a phone number. When I called it and waited 30 mins for someone to answer. They told me sorry. This number is only for deliveries in Philadelphia. So when I called the new number they told me. They dont know when they will be able to deliver it again. And they will call me back at some point and let me know. So I've spent $800 on an appliance. But no idea if or when ill receive it.
