  I live in the Briarcrest community in Morgantown, PA, which is serviced by New Castle Lawn and Landscape. After the last snowstorm, my driveway was not fully cleared. They left about two feet of packed snow across part of the driveway, which makes it impossible to park two cars and safely get children in and out of our vehicles. The snow has been there for over a week. I reached out to the company today through Facebook Messenger and received only an automated reply saying someone would get back to me. I also contacted my HOA over 24 hours ago and have not received a response. This is more than an inconvenience. My newborn is being discharged from the hospital and coming home within the next 48 hours, and I need safe access to my driveway to load and unload my children. I understand snow removal is demanding after storms, but leaving large piles in residents’ driveways without communication or follow-up is unacceptable. I hope this is taken seriously and resolved quickly. Update: I previously left a review regarding an issue with snow being left in part of my driveway after the last storm. I want to update this because New Castle Lawn and Landscape responded quickly and handled the situation the right way. Within 20 minutes of my message, they contacted me, told me it would be cleared by the morning, and then actually sent someone out right away on a Saturday. The snow was cleared in less than an hour, no exaggeration. I truly appreciate the fast response and follow-through, especially with a newborn coming home from the hospital. Mistakes can happen after major storms, but what matters is how a company responds, and they absolutely made this right. Thank you for the quick turnaround and great customer service.

  Newcastle holds the contract in the development i live in. Our HOA chose them and their service to the community continuously declines, from their terrible landscape and lawn care (perhaps its knowledge, just seems careless) to their lazy unhelpful snow removal. Most recently they turned everyone's driveways into sheets of ice. I had to physically stop the person in the skidloader from ruining my driveway as I had carefully shoveled it myself after seeing everyone else's. It didn't even take me much longer, maybe a minute to clear it than it took the skid loader on my neighbors. Mine was clear and safe, my neighbor was solid ice. Lazy unprofessional work.

  Eddie did a wonderful job on a very warm day all by himself! His buddies ghosted him that day. I think because the Dallas Cowboys lost the night before, their loss,I gave an Eddie lunch! Thank you Eddie for a job well done! Carol Keiser

  I’ve been using New Castle to help with my lawn as I had lots of weeds, those tiny strawberries and small purple flowers. In just 2 lawn applications the grass is greener, thicker and those weeds are just about gone! The grass hasn’t looked to good! I also have had then remove tree stumps and the last 2 years cut down the ornamental grass. Always done professionally…..Thanks!
