- MMMad_Maxi_MouseMar 24, 20265.0Very clean store. This is definitely not home depot like I'm used to. The atmosphere is totally different & I like it. The selection is also much more than home depot. I had a very polite & helpful employee assist me at checkout & help me with my Lowes Pro account even after hours (pro dept. hours) I loved the place. I just wish they had better tools. They carry home owner grade tools (because home depot has Carté Blanche on contractor grade tools. Other than that... I love the clean & friendly atmosphere. It's a nice change over the dirt & grit of home depot that I'm used to.

I was charged on the 8th of March and told someone I didn’t come and pick up an item and they said don’t worry we will refund you. We understand. Someone must have completed it on your behalf here at the store to get it off their list of orders. Well I called March 12th and explained the situation again and asked for a refund. Since I’m not paying for an item that is not in my possession. They tell me they’ll give me a refund and the manager was working on it. Then today, I call again. This is the 3rd time, now they changed their tune and said “oh well since it’s completed you got charged”. I said how are you charging me for something I never picked up…? I said did you even look at a drivers license of someone if you’re claiming someone picked it up? She said oh we don’t know that. I said this is YOUR fault you completed an order that I never physically picked up because I was in a different state. So they tell me contact your credit card company cause we can’t help you. Absolutely ridiculous. HORRIBLE customer service. How they feel comfortable charging a customer for something they don’t physically have in their possession is beyond me.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
