I rarely go out of my way to write a review, spend a lot of time at different Lowe’s and the other place. Today was exceptional help by two of the employees. Was buying the bumble chrismtas decoration from Rudolph and needed it off a shelf. The guy from paint hopped right up to track it down, got a cart for me a hustled to make it happen. Then chuck helped with check out, helped me create a Lowe’s account to start earning points and was such a nice, kind person.

I've tried very, very hard to support Lowe's ahead of rival Home Depot, if nothing but for political reasons. But three tirlmes now I've order appliances and PROMISED Saturday delivery (even sent a text and email confirmation) of my delivery time the night before, waited all day and no show. I've gone to the store, Wood Village, OR where the lead cashier (absolute rudest and most hostile lady) completely dismissed me as a costumer and basically called me a liar about receiving Saturday delivery. I tried showing her my confirmation and she told me to get my phone out of her face ( she was 4 feet away). Supe came up, he was just as stupid as they come and as rude insisted they never, every do Saturday deliver, yet online it clearly says Saturday delivery and every r e p in the back too says Saturday delivery. He canceled my order saying I'm not a good customer. WHAT??? PS I'm a veteran. Just wow!!!. I walked in the back, talked to chuck, who said absolutely they do Saturday and Sunday delivery. he replaced my order but due to time it won't driver until Monday. So Monday comes and goes, i have a text/email confirmation.... wait all day. No show again. Same thing for Wednesday. Finally, it comes a week and a half later on Saturday. Go figure. I go back to store to talk to supe and show him, yes Saturday delivery. He kicks me out of store, says I'm not welcome. I've cut up my credit card and mailed in and now posted my disdain to every veteran site I can think of. Horrible service. I'll shop at True Value (owned by Do-it-Best Hardware which is actuality much larger than Lowes) or Ace Hardware. Plus I paid for delivery and installation. They LITERALLY put the double door rig in the middle in my kitchen, wrapped, and walked away, no install, didn't put in handles, nothing. I had to do everything, including take for of kitchen/ garage and put back on.
