While my over all experience was very frustrating taking up a lot of my time, Skai in returns was a huge help. She first exchanged the damaged item for a replacement which also had issue. The first trip back took an hour inside the store before I left with the exchanged generator. The second generator also had issues and I could not justify continuing to stop my work day to make returns. Skai figured out how to refund my money and turn a frustrating situation into a more positive one. I ended up buying a Honda EU3200I generator which has been a rock star from the first pull.
Thank you Skai! I hope your management team reads this and recognize your commitment for customer service.

It is extremely difficult to get help at this store. Couldn't find anyone to help me in the lumber area and asked an associate I found in the closest area. Told me to find an associate in the lumber area... Disappointing to say the least.
Furthermore, if material in the lumber area was labeled I wouldn't even need the help, but so many items have no price.
(Edited)
After 15 minutes and speaking to 4 different associates, I was finally able to get someone to help in the lumber area.
I then headed over for flooring material, almost immediately after arriving there, Chris asked if he could help me out. I told him what I was looking for and he not only took me to the correct area. He helped me load up my cart, checked me out and then helped me to take the material out and helped to load my vehicle.
So to summarize - Chris in flooring was awesome - 5 out of 5. My experience in the lumber area was so poor though that I have to give a 3 star overall.

So I needed a new blower... I would normally just go to home Depot because it's so much closer to my home. I had a little time available so I did some research and I found a nearly identical floor at Lowe's for 20% less! It's worth researching Lowe's, the prices are more than competitive!

Every time I'm there I get interrupted by one of their employees wandering around trying to sell stuff. Gutter-cleanings, deals for homeowners, etc. it's super annoying and it feels pretty predatory.
Also, the woman who checked me out was in my face about taking a survey. You shouldn't force people to to do anything.
I just want to go in and buy the things I need. I don't need to be constantly harangued by the employees. At the very least, insist the employees to not bother people with headphones/earbuds in?

Why is it such a hassle returning stuff to lowes? I stopped purchasing materials from Lowe's mainly because of this. When you make a purchase with a debt card it's like paying with cash. Everyone knows this but for some stupid reason Lowe's treats debit card purchases like credit card purchases when doing returns. Home Depot doesn't do that. If you bought the wrong thing and need to return it to buy something different. It turns into a big hassle a waiting game, waiting several days to get your money refunded. Total waste of time. Lowes is losing contractors business because of this nonsense. Home Depot is professional about it. they don't waste their customers time. If you pay with your debt card like most of us do, They make doing returns seamless. Maybe Lowes POS system is just outdated.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
