We're offering safe Alterations services for your convenience. During your in-store Alterations appointment, you can expect a safe environment where a mask is provided to you. Alterations employees will also be staying safe in both a mask and gloves. We'll take precautions such as increased sanitization in fitting rooms. If you had alterations being completed before our store closures and your completed garments are ready for pickup, we'll reach out to coordinate complimentary shipping of items directly to you. If safe Contactless Curbside Pickup is available at your store, you can choose to pick up completed garments via this method or have them shipped to you.

- ARAshton ReedOct 18, 20241.0I didn’t get far enough to review the alteration itself, I didn’t even get service. When I showed up to my online appt all the employees were on their phone and told me to change and someone would meet me. After 10 minutes I check in and they said sorry they forgot to call someone. When the tailor comes to meet me he’s immediately dismissive, says they don’t do any sort of taper (contradictory to their website), and tries to get me to go to somewhere else.

I have had Mona work on many of my dresses, tops etc. and she always gets it right the first time. Highly recommend asking for Mona next time you need any alterations done.

My baby shower is in two weeks, and I asked if she could let the seam out a little in my dress. Without even looking at it, she said, "No," and started to walk away! I stopped her to try and explain that I also have a duplicate dress in a 4XL that could maybe be taken in, but as soon as the words, "...they also sent me a 4X" left my mouth, she callously said, "NOT MY PROBLEM" and walked away for good!!! I've been a loyal customer to Nordstrom for decades, had all my prom and bridesmaids dresses hemmed there, and I have spent tens of thousands of dollars-- but after today, I NEVER WANT TO GO BACK! It's amazing how one person can leave such a bad taste in your mouth (not to mention make a 7-month pregnant woman cry) that it ruins your experience for life. Nordstrom is supposed to be a quality retailer...how about employing quality people?
- LELucy EdwardsSep 25, 20221.0I had three long sleeve T-shirts (just 2 inches off the sleeve) and a pair of linen pants (just a few inches from the length) altered. For the shirts I was charged 20$ each- yes I got the credit back in Nordstrom notes. But it went against my 300$ yearly credit. These were full price items from Nordstrom. The shirts are unwearable now. I compared the sleeve length to the same shirt (unaltered) in my closet- 6 inches shorter! For the pants, I tried them on with flats (for the sizing). When I got them home, at least four inches too long. I can’t even wear them with heels. When I went back to the store, I was told altered clothing couldn’t be returned! What a waste. I wasn’t the one who ruined them, why should I be out 160$??? Really disappointed!
