Unfair Treatment and Failure to Attempt Delivery: I am submitting this complaint to formally document a delivery failure and the unfair treatment I received from Lowe’s delivery drivers customer service and corporate representatives. I purchased a refrigerator for $1,999 and paid an additional $159 for delivery, installation, and removal of my old refrigerator. The delivery drivers never attempted to bring the new refrigerator into my home. They did not remove it from the truck, did not unbox it, and refused to attempt door removal despite my direct request. They immediately stated it would not fit without verifying anything. The drivers contacted dispatch and reported that the refrigerator would not fit—without attempting delivery in any way. Dispatch instructed me to contact the store for a refund while the appliance remained in the truck. I explicitly told the drivers not to return the refrigerator and stated I would arrange for someone else to complete the installation. Despite this, they later filed notes claiming I told them to “load the refrigerator up and issue a refund.” This statement is false and illogical. My old refrigerator had failed, my food had already been removed, and I needed the new appliance. The refrigerator is currently in my garage, which directly contradicts the driver’s report. Additionally, the drivers successfully removed my old refrigerator by removing the doors, proving that the delivery was possible. My old refrigerator has similar dimensions to the new one. What is most concerning is that Lowe’s customer service and corporate teams immediately accepted the drivers’ inaccurate notes as fact and dismissed my account without investigation. I was treated as though I was at fault for the delivery team’s refusal to do the job I paid for. Any resolution that was eventually offered came only after repeated escalation and resistance on my part, and it was handled in a manner that made me feel blamed rather than supported. As a paying customer, I was treated unfairly and wrongfully accused, rather than being protected from contractor incompetence and misrepresentation. Will not do business with them again. (Complaint posted on behalf of my mother and what she experienced today)

Walked by 6 employees, not one asked of I needed help. While pulling up website a 7th employee stopped and ask what I was looking for. He sent me to aisle 6 that did not have what I was looking for. Pulled website back up and it doesn't show what aisle products are on. 2 other employees saw me standing thier and neither offer to help.

They had what I needed, staff was able to help me find a specific need. When you need a big box hardware store, they are here.

I’ve had mixed experiences at this store over several visits. It can be difficult to find staff on the floor when you need help, and getting assistance sometimes takes longer than expected. I also haven’t seen much management presence during busy times. The store manager’s photo is posted, but I rarely see them out on the floor engaging with customers. I hope the store focuses on being more available and responsive, because the location itself is convenient and has potential to be much better.

You have one job, Lowes. Stock and sell merch. When you sell a propane heater but don't stock the required, proprietary hose that makes it functional, you're not very good at your one job.
