  This place is ok but don't believe their claims about climate control- the outside doors frequently malfunction and remain open and the temperature in the units is often whatever it is outside in Portland - anywhere from 25° to 100°F

  I stored my belongings here for 1.5 years in one of the larger units. The staff and owners are very helpful and always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. The place is clean, affordable, and convenient. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of storage.

  I highly recommend this storage unit place-a-ma-bob!! The year 2025 was not the best for my wallet and I ended up getting booted from my apartment due to non-payment. This was due to my choice to spend my rent money on the finer things in life, such as bon bons and the full VHS tape series of I Love Lucy. Any-poo, the loss of my residence left me with a lot of stuff I did not want to throw off the freeway overpass or ditch on the side of a highway. I worked hard to waste money on my I Love Lucy tapes! I needed to find a place to store all my precious tapes and bon bons and wanted to find the closest location to my former apartment to make things easier. I ended up at Downtown Self-Storage and was astounded by the clean, beautiful facility that destiny led me to discover. The staff is so professional, kind, caring, and very fun. It was very easy to rent a storage unit to stack all my Lucy tapes and a few other things like 32 pairs of fuzzy moon boots and a couple broken down Segways from my time as a mall cop. I instantly knew I was wise in my choice to pick this location to rent from. I had considered a big box location at first, but none was close enough to my former home. I am very lucky I was focused on proxemics for my main necessity. After signing up for my storage unit and paying, I got to work lugging my tapes, moon boots, and Segways on my janky grocery wagon to my unit. I was then informed that I could borrow the big moving carts if I needed something more heavy duty. I was so pleased! I do not drive and I was highly embarrassed about this whole loss of residence sitch, so I was going to be moving my whole apartment of stuff into storage by myself. The moving carts were a saving grace for sure. Every day for a week, I pushed the cart to and from my apartment. I only lived 10 blocks away, so it wasn't far at all. However, there were two hilly blocks I had to navigate and that was quite vexing. But the moving carts did just fine going up and down Block Everest and Block Pichincha with all of my pounds of crap piled high and only secured on with two bungee cords. I am extremely grateful for Downtown Self-Storage and their amazing staff. I have fortunately gained employment in the nick of time and have earnings enough to be residing in a hotel, so I don't have to sleep in a bush somewhere. I take my janky wagon, which has seen better days, and drag it to my storage unit when I need to switch out items for my rad new hotel pad. I pack light nowadays, so I only bring a few Lucy tapes at a time to my rad pad and I am focusing on fixing up only one Segway currently. Every time I go in to Downtown Self-Storage, I am greeted with the staff who are a joy to encounter and it is so fun and convenient to go to this place. If you have read this far through my hilarious review, you deserve some delicious bon bons and an episode or two of I Love Lucy. You also deserve to go to Downtown Self-Storage and check it out! Just make sure to be abstemious with those bon bons and don't spend too much of those hard earned pennies on Lucy VHS tapes like me. Use that money wisely for your very own storage unit. Alright, back to bon bons it is. Nom nom nom.
