- LMLois MNov 4, 20252.0I had two copies of my house key made. One was cut from a blue with polka dots blank and the other was just a plane brass blank. The key made from the blue blank worked great. The key cut on the brass blank not so much. I had to use a fingernail file to smooth the burrs and adjust a few points. I did eventually get it to work - was a bit if a hassle. Think next time I'll find a human to cut my keys.
