- BHBrian HandlerJan 22, 20265.0Recently purchased a 100+ year old home in Hillsboro with a beautiful and seemingly healthy 250+ year old Black Walnut tree. Before buying, we had Jepson Arbor Specialists come in to survey the health of the tree. We could tell it needed a good trimming and likely other preventative maintenance, and they were able to put together a solid multi-year plan to hopefully get another 100 years or more out of this gorgeous tree. They did an amazing job clearing out dying branches and were able to help us re-hang our beloved 50' wooden swing in a manner that was safe for us and the tree. They were able to drop the huge branches with care and left no trace behind. Further they had us add a feeding and fertilizer routine that will help us weather invasive species and fungal concerns and also hopefully avoid such heavy fruit-dropping in the summers and falls ahead as the tree will be in a less defensive stance going forward. Really top-notch service, great and personable staff. Looking forward to working with Jepson Arbor Specialists LLC in the years ahead!

He's worked on small tree projects as well as one where he had 2-3 guys 60 feet up in an Doug fir tree that was next to a very tall rotting and dangerous tree that needed to come down. It was very challenging. He and his crew have been prompt and awesome to work with. One of his best tools.....brooms - his crew cleans up the work area fastidiously which is uncommon. Communication with Cody has been clear and responsive. He's been a pleasure to work with and I'm sure we'll have more projects in the future with Jepson Arbor.
