- THT HancockFeb 22, 20261.0This is a bait and switch business. The costs have gone up 2.5 times what they advertised. The state of New York is currently suing this company for this exact thing. Our storage unit is dusty, full of bugs and spiders and has water damage. They of course are not responsible for any damage. But why should we be responsible for leaking water? It’s not our facility or job to maintain the roof. I would not recommend this place at all.

After speaking with staff it turns out that they can change the price whenever they feel like it as long as they "communicate with you via email or mail"... and then you can also negotiate the price. There is no option to sign a contract and continue on a stable monthly payment. My bill went up by $70+ dollars from one month to another (apparently they mailed something to me which I never saw) I was able to negotiate a different price but it was a really awkward conversation. I think I speak for a lot of people, we don't want to have to negotiate, we don't like surprise increases out of no where, I think most people are looking for a stable, reliable storage company, without any surprises. Would have gladly continued to be a customer but the unpredictability of the pricing is something that I could not work with.

The grounds were kept clean and neat and there was a friendly wave, coming and going. Renting each unit was quick and simple. Highly recommend.
