all the 1 and 2 star ratings from the last 12 months make no sense like people have strange expectations and forget there was a worldwide crisis . complaints about customer service in the box store are the same for both home depot and lowes because the massive square footage means there will always be more customers than there is available help . people want one stop superstore shopping and forget that there are small locally owned shops that specialize in 1 thing where employees can cover a much smaller space . of course now in 2021 there is a well known manpower shortage nationwide for all service related work places but people will still complain like they completely forgot about the 2020 worldwide crisis . so everyone needs to make sure they are being realistic about what they are experiencing while also having an honest and direct comparison to service and prices under certain circumstances rather than act like they have a good experience everywhere else

This rating is not for the establishment of Lowes but for one of their employees who really pulled through for me today. I'll spare you the saga but I've had a slew of poor experiences with Lowes appliances being delivered broken (not just this time but over the years). Ive order 7 appliances this month( the deals were too good to resist) two of which were damaged upon arrival and one that never arrived. The first one I missed because we hadn't had a chance to hook it up (a second washer) we were waiting on getting the plumbing installed. That put us outside that 48 hr return window. When we went to hook this thing up the basin was cracked and leaked all over our newly installed laminate flooring. Its waterproof but not the walls and trim of the house. All that to say Lowes customer service online put me through the wringer. They would not take this washer back and were sticking to their policy. It surely was damaged in the delivery process because its been sitting untouched in my laundry room since. I talked to maybe 5 reps and all of them said "too bad so sad essentially". The saga continues from there. I gave it one last ditch effort to call my local store and was transferred to Jen in Appliances. She was so gracious and empathetic to the situation. Im giving her 5 stars for being a great employee and a decent human. She should get employee of the month or a raise or what ever because Lowes you have a good person there with integrity. Im not convinced about Lowes themselves and probably won't continue to shop here after all the problems I've had. But I just wanted to give Jen from appliances a huge shout out! Thank you again for taking care of us!
