When she was unable to locate suitable inventory, I was delighted to receive a text message the following day indicating she had found a sectional that fit my budget perfectly, including 5-year protection and delivery.
Before finalizing this purchase, I contacted your Bend location to inquire about completing the transaction locally for convenience. I forwarded the invoice from Lynn to Amy at the Bend location. Given the significant discount, Amy investigated the pricing and discovered that the sectional had been mismatched—the pieces were assembled with slightly different colors.
I was shocked by this revelation, particularly because the invoice I received from Lynn displayed identical serial numbers for each piece, clearly indicating they should have been the same color. This represents a complete lack of transparency, and I felt I was being sold what amounts to a “lemon”—a defective or misrepresented product.
When I expressed my legitimate frustration to Amy, explaining that I could not understand how La-Z-Boy, with its longstanding reputation for quality, could sell such a product to a customer without full disclosure, she dismissed my concerns entirely. She stated she had customers arriving and abruptly ended our conversation. However, at that exact moment, Lauren from your Bend location—who had been assisting me the previous day—sent me a video showcasing an Ava sectional. In this video, Amy is clearly visible at her desk with no customers present, directly contradicting her claim.
This experience has left me profoundly disappointed. My concerns were completely valid: I was provided documentation indicating a matched set while being sold mismatched merchandise, and when I raised this issue, I was dismissed rather than heard. This falls far below the standard of customer service and integrity I have come to expect from La-Z-Boy.
I have been a loyal La-Z-Boy customer for years, having purchased several pieces from your company. I intend to continue my patronage because I believe in your products; however, this experience has taught me to exercise greater caution in future transactions. I will also be unable to work with Amy going forward, as she failed to validate legitimate customer concerns and conducted herself unprofessionally.
I am requesting that this matter be reviewed by management to ensure that proper transparency in product representation is maintained and that customer concerns are treated with the respect and professionalism your brand reputation demands.

Had a really great experience purchasing a loveseat recliner from the Bend La-Z-Boy store. Austin was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the loveseat. He was very patient and gave us all the information about the options we could add to the loveseat. Best experience I have had in a very long time purchasing furniture.
