Update:
Glad to report all financing issues were resolved thanks to the immediately responsive Oregon Hot Tub team. I believe the assurances from the long time employees that this has never happened in their time and that there was an error in the handling of my order. The ease of correcting the issue made it clear that Covid had more to do with it than any ill intent.
With Covid and the countless disruptions outside anyone's control, I really believe I got 5 star service because the team followed through when it was reasonable to do so and stayed engaged to the finish line.
Delivery was great, and I appreciated the offer to repair the tinest scratch on the hot tub before it arrived which felt like great attention to detail and a focus on service.

Do not trust these people. We have waited over 14 months for a hot tub that will be delivered Monday and the promised 0% financing just doesn't apply anymore. But luckily there is 7% financing available! I don't know what to call this other than a bait and switch. So I just gave a business an interest free loan for over a year and I can't get the same terms - not a fan and not the reason I purchased with them.
I was abundantly clear that the only reason I was purchasing was the financing was garauteed. The sales person Derrick, who no longer works there, promised that I was all set with the deposit I made and that the 1 year 0% financing would be applied at delivery. Fair deal with a 12 month lead time - I wish I had them point out where that was written in the purchase order...it isn't there.
The wait was expected with a 12 month estimate and zero promised updates along the way. I called at 6 months hoping for some kind of insight over an update, but there was zero information which makes sense if the manufacturer doesn't provide it. They don't and most companies struggled with Covid delays and communication - not the problem and nobody should expect more with global market strain. When I walked into the Beaverton showroom at 14 months with similar models in stock and featured sales with product in stock I had a suspicion they never put in the order. I was advised to check in a week later and that my situation was unusual, which I believe it is unusual. I had to check in for three more weeks going in or calling to then get the update that I was in production.
The wait was not the problem and I wasn't interested in pressing until today's news that financing was gone, and never applied - if I knew not to trust them I would have pulled my order before production to avoid fees.
Here is what I believe is reasonable to update this review.
- I want a public rebuke that the prior employee should have never promised financing was in any way locked in.
- an update to the website financing page explaining the financing and certain terms are promotions for limited time and to post when they expire in large print so others can make informed decisions.
- A commitment to no longer offer deposits for items not in stock and change to a no money down queue model. It is not fair to take an interest free loan that could have resulted in no fulfillment at all with no penalty to Oregon hot tub or All Spa.
It is not fair that I took all the risk and I wish I purchased a comperable Costco hottub instead that has clearer terms even though servicing a hottub would be more challenging.
No prices for ANYTHING on the website. Want to know how much a little table would be? Too bad, you have to sign up for a lifetime of spam to see the exorbitant price of some cheap piece of plastic. Super frustrating.

We just got our new Jetsetter hot tub up and running last night. Tammy Asher provided the most impressive service during the purchase and even came to the house after the purchase to help us with the new salt water Ace system set up. She answered all our questions and our dog loved her too! The company also assisted with removal and install services and were very prompt and careful. Absolutely no question we would highly recommend Oregon Hot Tub and Tammy was the best.

Having had a Hot Springs spa in the past, when it came time to buy another spa, I only considered one brand-Hot Springs!
Initially I was considering the Vanguard, as it was closest to my previous spa, The Classic. After "testing the waters" at the Beaverton store, my wife saw the Grandee and decided this was going to be our next spa! Our Grandee spa was delivered via a 60 ton crane up and over our house on a very challenging cul-de-sac location. The delivery team did an outstanding job.
We loved the spa for about 8 months, at which time, the problems started. After numerous service calls, the decision was made to replace the spa. After a few more weeks, I received a call from AllSpa that the allocation of responsibility of the installation of the new spa had been worked out between the manufacturer and Oregon Hot Tub. My new Spa was delivered in early September and has worked flawlessly since. I will tell you, Oregon Hot Tub went above and beyond to make this unfortunate situation a very positive experience. Special kudos go out to Jennifer Bartels, my salesperson, for always taking my calls and texts and helping me along the way to stay calm and collected. Kenia at AllSpa service center was the right service rep to handle ALL the frustrating calls and work alongside of Jennifer to make the situation right. Mark Dickey, the installer, was very patient and instilled all the confidence I needed to make sure the install would go as planned.
Finally, a big THANK YOU to the ownership of Oregon Hot Tubs as this was not a simple "tub replacement". The install took another crane and a full day of preparation-$$. Rest assured that this company is one that stands behind their products and has the people in place for an extraordinary Spa Experience
