Damaged my house on delivery, the store manager told me they can’t do anything because the drivers didn’t tell them they caused the damage. Drivers requested a document to be signed on delivery which they said was to confirm the delivery was completed. But it was to sign off on property damage. Feel lied to by the drivers and rejected by the store on what was a small mistake and was very easily fixable. Zero accountability from Leon’s as a business.

Terrible experience with the Leon’s location. I purchased a recliner that was delivered with a defective motor. I notified the store within three days, but instead of replacing it, they chose to send a technician for a repair. After waiting three weeks for the part to arrive, the technician finally came out—only to realize they had sent the wrong motor. At that point, they decided to replace the entire recliner. It has now been another two weeks, and I am still waiting. The item was originally delivered on February 12, and today is April 5. Nearly two months later, this issue remains unresolved. Throughout the process, there has been zero sympathy, no offer of store credit or compensation, and very poor customer service. To make matters worse, they also initially delivered the wrong couch, although that issue was resolved in less than five days. The store manager has ignored my requests to either return this item or provide some form of compensation. Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience, especially for such a major purchase. I expected far better service and accountability.

Had a great experience at Leon’s thanks to Dav. He was knowledgeable, patient, and really listened to what I needed without any pressure. Made the whole process smooth and easy—highly recommend asking for him if you’re shopping there!

Three Defective Tables. Two Months. Zero Accountability. This is, without question, the worst consumer experience I have ever had. In January 2026, I purchased a dining table from Leon's Furniture Whitby. Upon assembly, I discovered visible defects. Leon's sent a replacement. That one was damaged too. They sent a third. Also damaged — delivered just yesterday, March 28, 2026. Three tables. Three defects. Every single time. Each delivery forced me to disassemble the previous table and assemble the new one — over two hours of heavy physical labour each time. I have a documented lower back condition that requires monthly chiropractic treatment to keep me walking. The repeated strain caused by Leon's repeated failures has aggravated my condition. I have the invoices to prove it. Every delivery left my home in a mess. Packaging debris, disruption, stress — repeated over and over because someone at this store keeps passing damaged products through "inspection" and sending them to customers. The customer care team was polite — I will give them that. But polite does not fix a defective table. Polite does not undo two months of frustration. Polite does not pay my chiropractic bills. I have now escalated this to Leon's Head Office, Consumer Protection Ontario, and the Better Business Bureau. All formal complaints are on record. If you are considering buying furniture from Leon's Whitby — please think carefully. When things go wrong, and they might, be prepared for a very long and exhausting road.

I recently had a great experience at Leon’s and wanted to share my appreciation for the excellent service we received from one of the sales representatives Mr. Kamil Amin. From the moment we walked in, he patiently listened to our needs and took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for in a mattress. He didn’t rush or push us toward anything unnecessary. Instead, he clearly explained the options and guided us toward a mattress that truly matches our expectations. His professionalism, patience and product knowledge made the whole buying process smooth and comfortable. What impressed us most was how quickly he gained our confidence, even though we had never know or met him before. It’s not easy to find someone who provides service with such sincerity and dedication. Thanks to his help, we were able to make the right choice and we’re very happy with our purchase. I will definitely look for him again for any future purchases at Leon’s and would highly recommend him to anyone shopping there.
