- CRColin Ramsden2 days ago1.0Generally this is a new and clean facility; however, they are missleading in their sales tactics when you rent a storage locker. When I rented the locker they informed me I "HAD" to purchase one of their special locks for the locker. No choice offered. Dumbly I accepted this and paid the $20.00 (=/-) for the lock. Only after this was done and I was moving my stuff into the locker did I note that the doors had slots for a normal padlock, which I have several of. When I vacated the locker I asked if they bought the lock back (at a discounted price) and got a firm NO. The then had the gaul to say if I did not want the lock I could leave it with them. Why so they could resell it and pocket the money. A proper sales tactic would have been "we recommend out locks as they are more secure; however, you are welcome to use your own lock if you wish." This practise is unethical to say the least and I will never recommend this facility to anyone for this reason alone.
