- VKVikas KeshriJun 8, 20224.0I had to get 2 keys cut. Visited the Walmart (near Ellington and Markham) in Scarborough. The machine seemed easy to use and it indeed is easy to use. The first key was done in no time - no problem. It was a breeze. Here's the real issue. The machine refused to scan the second key. For umpteen number of times, the machine was not able to scan the second key. I gave up on the machine and decided to get the groceries done. After checking out groceries and before leaving I decided to give it one more try. It didn't scan again. i refused to give up. After few more attempts, it finally scanned and got the task done. Ultimately the machine made the copies of the key but it turned out to be a herculean task. If you are lucky, using the machine is a cake walk. If the machine decides to screw you, trust me it will screw you royally. The keys work fine. No complaints. However, when the keys come put of the machine, it does require some clean up. Handle the keys with care as it can have few sharp pieces. Once you clean it, you are good to go. If the machine would have scanned keys proficiently, I would have rated five stars.
