Dec 30 2025 - I lost a full day's work waiting for their delivery, which as of yet, still didn't happen. Made up excuses and lack of communication is all I got. DO NOT USE THEM, go to Costco, they deliver. Complete lack of accountability and even worse service. Jan 2 2026 - Second attempt. Rude and lazy drivers. Scarborough and Richmond Hill giving contradictory instructions, etc. Truck left with the mattress on it. I have all the calls from the past 3 days recorded, for both failed deliveries and the rude dispatchers. I will share them with transcripts on social media and have my lawyer assess this as well.

We purchased a loveseat and sofa set from Leon’s Richmond Hill approximately three years ago. The set was presented as Italian-made and positioned as a premium product, and we also purchased a maintenance/protection plan at the time of sale. Within about a year, the seating area began to feel structurally uneven and uncomfortable. The underlying frame became noticeable through the cushions, to the point where sitting or leaning back could cause physical discomfort. We reported this issue and, after several weeks, a technician inspected the furniture. We were told the frame itself was “intact” and that the issue was related to foam compression, which was attributed to the manufacturer and deemed not actionable under the plan. Over time, the condition worsened. The furniture is now very uncomfortable and effectively unusable for regular seating. More concerning, I developed shoulder and neck pain, which was assessed by our family doctor and physiotherapist. Both provided written confirmation indicating that the seating structure contributed to her condition. We contacted Leon’s Richmond Hill again, provided the full history, and informed about the medical documentation. Despite this, we were informed that there is no return or exchange option, and that any remediation (such as foam replacement) would be at our expense, even though the protection plan is still active. What has been most disappointing is not just the outcome, but the process. Over more than three weeks, we made multiple calls, were passed between different individuals, repeatedly had to explain the situation from the beginning, experienced long gaps between responses, and ultimately received the same conclusion without any apparent escalation or accountability. I am sharing this experience not out of frustration alone, but to highlight concerns around post-sale support, clarity of protection plan coverage, and responsiveness when product quality and customer well-being are involved. We were not seeking an unreasonable outcome, only a fair, practical solution consistent with the positioning of the product and the protection plan we purchased. I hope Leon’s reviews this matter more carefully and considers a more balanced, customer-focused approach in similar situations going forward.

The furniture was delivered with a required part missing, and it has now been over two months with no resolution. Despite multiple follow-ups with both sales and customer service, nothing has been done. For a high-priced furniture purchase, this level of quality control and after-sales service is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to think carefully before purchasing from Leon’s.
