  Winston is exceptional. Very caring, well mannered, and went the extra mile for us when we called to check up on our ordered product, Winston responded immediately and we got our stuff in no time.   I made my first furniture purchase at Jysk just a few weeks ago. My original goal was to find a small desk on wheels for a small tabletop piano. There was an amazing desk for under $100 that fit the bill perfectly. Surprisingly, there was quite a selection of desks, end tables, shelving units, kitchen tables, and a huge amount of chairs. I met a sales associate named Ella and she politely asked if she could help. I told her what I was looking for and if I could put the desk I loved on casters. Ella recommended against it and suggested an even better, more affordable option, which unfortunately was no longer in stock except the floor model. I wasn’t sure what to do but in the meantime my son was checking out desks and found something else he also really liked. There was clearly too many things my son and I really liked but what really sealed the deal was the Ella made sure she could quote us the best price possible. She found out that she could sell us both desks that each of us really liked at the sale price! I couldn’t resist picking up a new chair for myself and my son, too, both of which Ella was able to give us at the sale price (his was only $30!). In the end, we saved over $100 and walked away with 2 desks and 2 chairs that we really loved for just over $300!!! In fact, we had such a great experience putting the desks together and they were such a perfect fit, I returned today to check out the matching shelves for my son, which he desperately needed (he is only 7 and he and his room is a bit of a disaster). Luckily, Ella was there and she was able to get me the sale-price on the shelving unit, too! Ella was great both times we made purchases with her. She was helpful and knowledgable about all the products and did not provide any pressure to buy whatsoever. Ella was friendly and easy to work with from the start and made these an easy purchase for this dad. Last but not least, I want to commend Ella’s right-hand-man in the warehouse, Logan, who was also there for both purchases. During both encounters, Ella worked quickly and effectively to communicate with Logan over a headset to provide updates on product availability as I shopped with my son and checked out different products. When I went around to pick-up my purchases from the warehouse entrance around the back of the store, it was easy to find and even behind the store was clean and easy to drive through to the bordering streets. Despite buying these things that were ultimately not designed to fit in a car of my size, Logan was patient and professional as I dug through the garbage and moved the seats around in my very sub-compact car. I have to give Mitsubishi props for designing the Mirage the way it is and all that it can fit. After a close examination, Logan was able to Tetris my purchases into the tiny space without causing damage to the products or having to leave a door or window open both times. Well done, Logan. Honestly, upon both visits to this store, I found that all staff were attentive and courteous. I’m a huge stickler for quality and even when I came to the store a second time, there were people exiting while I was entering that remarked that you just don’t get this kind of treatment in stores anymore. I’m glad I am not alone in my appreciation for this store and its staff. We will definitely be repeat customers. Keep up the great work! Patrick

  Your employee Tania is amazing! I never knew about the price protection program at jysk and she informed me of it when I went into buy a mattress topper, well of course the next week it went on sale so her informing me of this made it where I was able to get almost 70 bucks back! In this day and age thats amazing! So Tania thank you very much and your boss should be very happy with your customer service!

  Beware of Manager Lee Anne , lacks of intellectual skills , very rude to customers , my husband and I watched her being rude angry and condescending to a customer in particular, was caught guiding her staff to b rude to the customers that were trying to return an unopened shelf as she walked away with a grin on her face . It's not the first TIME we heard friends and family in Peterborough saying how rude she is and feels superior to everyone , cause of her title . I feel for Jysk for it gives them a bad rep , just cause one employee things so highly mighty of herself due to their manager title , therefor gives her the rights to bully customers ? Our advise Relocate her , or remove her , retrain her to another location .Jysk Your loosing customers cause of one individual.
