  Had a great experience with Leon's Peterborough during their boxing week sale. I went looking for new chairs for my kitchen island and not only did they have something that suited my space there were also in stock. All the sales and customer service staff were wonderful to deal with. Even the staff at the warehouse was friendly when picking up my chairs later the same day.

  We were were happy to encounter Amber the Sales Associate. She was very knowlegable with the information provided in search of a new sofa. She suggested us to purchase with a Canadian company called Decor-Rest Furniture. Thank you Amber for your excellent customer service and your patience. Can't wait to receive my new sofa. I would recommend this location. Angelina

  We always go to Leon's for our purchases. Aaron and his staff are amazing. They always give great service from the minute we walk in the door right up to the delivery!! We highly recommend Leon's.

  What a nightmare dealing with Leon’s Peterborough! Both couch and chair we ordered came defective, and the process of getting replacements and dealing with customer service has left us feeling so frustrated. Jessica from customer service is super rude and hard to work with. We’ve done everything they’ve asked of us, sending photos, taking calls/emails, what a total mess. They agreed to replace the chair and we waited all afternoon for the delivery, which showed up over 45 minutes late (after the latest delivery window time, which was already pushed back, so over 1.5 hours late overall and almost 8pm at night!). No updated tracking, no notification/phone call. I had to call the store to try to figure out what was going on. No apology or understanding, just “these things happen” and “I’m sure the delivery team isn’t happy about working late”. We were just made to feel like we were being unreasonable to expect even a basic level of customer service. I asked Jessica to call the delivery team and call me back. She never called, we waited, and eventually the delivery showed up. We ended up missing an appointment due to the delay and lack of any communication. They are refusing to replace the couch, still waiting after weeks to figure out what we are supposed to do about that. I’ve asked to speak with a manager but won’t hold my breath. It seems their customer service strategy is drag everything out and wait until you get frustrated enough to just give up and go away. Buyer beware! Don’t shop at Leon’s if you want quality furniture or any customer service. Side note: The delivery team is super pleasant and hard working, the only part Leon’s is getting right. Update #1: Over a week later, the Operations Manager (Joyce) reached out to discuss my google review. It was clear that’s all they really care about here, this review. I re-directed the discussion to the actual issue, my defective couch, and she proceeded to suggest that the defect is pet damage, which is the most ridiculous accusation. The defect looks nothing like that, and to try to deflect this back on us weeks after the issue was reported is just complete nonsense. They are doing everything they can to deflect responsibility and there still has been zero acknowledgement/apology for our customer service experience to-date. Update #2: After a bunch more back and forth, Leon’s agreed to replace our couch and said it would be a few weeks before delivery. This whole process was unbelievably frustrating: getting two defective pieces, countless calls/emails, terrible customer service and wild accusations, delayed deliveries, just an overall mess. Fingers crossed our new couch turns out ok, but I would never go back to Leon’s again. NEVER AGAIN.

  We purchased our first Kendrick Sofa in February 2025. When we move to Cobourg in the Fall, we knew that we wanted a second Kendrick sofa for our recreation room of our new home. Our experience with Leon's Peterborough was seamless and the Peterborough delivery crew got the job done efficiently and flawlessly. We are very happy with our recent purchase, and we have many other furnishings that we have purchased from Leon's over the past few decades, all of which have shown their quality through use over the years. We would recommend and prefer Leon's over all other furniture outlets when it comes to style, quality, durability, and service.
